And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
And whiles I {was} speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God;
Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I {am}. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace {be} unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:
And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
Fear thou not; for I {am} with thee: be not dismayed; for I {am} thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:
He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.

And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
When I wept, {and chastened} my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.
And ye shall have on the tenth {day} of this seventh month an holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls: ye shall not do any work {therein}:

And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Whoso {is} wise, and will observe these {things}, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.
