Verse of the Day
Mat 11:28“Come unto me, all {ye} that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Why this matters
Jesus speaks these words after condemning cities that rejected Him, then praising the Father for hiding truth from the wise while revealing it to children. The invitation "come to Me" is startling — not "come to a system" or "follow rules," but a personal call to Jesus Himself. The "rest" He offers (Greek: anapausis) is not laziness but relief from the crushing burden of earning God's favor through performance.
