And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.
And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she {was} barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.

And his mother answered and said, Not {so}; but he shall be called John.
And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
And she conceived again, and bare a daughter.
