Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath {days}: {in meat...: or, for eating and drinking} {respect: or, part}
Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean {thing}; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.
Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether {it be} a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and {if} it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.
They shall not dwell in the LORD'S land; but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean {things} in Assyria.

And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

These are {the things} which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.
And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse. {are we the better: or, have we the more} {are we the worse: or, have we the less}

I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that {there is} nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him {it is} unclean. {unclean: Gr. common}
Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault. {defiled: or, common}
That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
{It is} good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor {any thing} whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean {thing}; and I will receive you,
And for these ye shall be unclean: whosoever toucheth the carcase of them shall be unclean until the even.
These {are} unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even.
