Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

So there was a division among the people because of him.
There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.
But when the Pharisees saw {it}, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.
The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.
If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
But I have greater witness than {that} of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.
Believe me that I {am} in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.
The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.
The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and {yet} he hath opened mine eyes.
The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us {his} flesh to eat?
But the multitude of the city was divided: and part held with the Jews, and part with the apostles.

For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this {man} hath done?
Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.
And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.
He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.
