But now, O LORD, thou {art} our father; we {are} the clay, and thou our potter; and we all {are} the work of thy hand.

Lo, their good {is} not in their hand: the counsel of the wicked is far from me.
Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?
He hath led me, and brought {me into} darkness, but not {into} light.
Behold, God will not cast away a perfect {man}, neither will he help the evil doers: {help...: Heb. take the ungodly by the hand} {come: Heb. shall not be}
This {is} one {thing}, therefore I said {it}, He destroyeth the perfect and the wicked.
He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings {are they} on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.

Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls {to him} in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.
