Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him {in} Bethel, and there he spake with us;
And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,

And God's anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the LORD stood in the way for an adversary against him. Now he was riding upon his ass, and his two servants {were} with him.
