And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof {is} twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.
And when I looked, behold, an hand {was} sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book {was} therein;
Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man's pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz. {Mahershalalhashbaz: Heb. In making speed to the spoil he hasteneth the prey, or, Make speed, etc}
And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and {his} left {foot} on the earth,
And it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, {that} this word came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
And they went in to the king into the court, but they laid up the roll in the chamber of Elishama the scribe, and told all the words in the ears of the king.
And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go {and} take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, after that the king had burned the roll, and the words which Baruch wrote at the mouth of Jeremiah, saying,
And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains {were} mountains of brass.
Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day.
The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.
Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil! {coveteth...: or, gaineth and evil gain} {power...: Heb. palm of the hand}
Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had {two} horns: and the {two} horns {were} high; but one {was} higher than the other, and the higher came up last. {the other: Heb. the second}
Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD, which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book.
Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns.
