{There is} a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.

And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.

Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and {against} God.
Go to now, {ye} rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon {you}.
Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, {are} these.
Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
Then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.
Her princes within her {are} roaring lions; her judges {are} evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the morrow.
What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded {blinded: or, hardened}
And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, {that there shall be} the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills.
But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in {yourselves}, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as {by} the flood of Egypt.
Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God.
Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen {it}, saith the LORD.
Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
