The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he {is} the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. {wise: or, teachers}
Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
And he made his seven lamps, and his snuffers, and his snuffdishes, {of} pure gold.
And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.
He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the LORD continually.
And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:
Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.
And the candlesticks of pure gold, five on the right {side}, and five on the left, before the oracle, with the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs {of} gold,
Even the weight for the candlesticks of gold, and for their lamps of gold, by weight for every candlestick, and for the lamps thereof: and for the candlesticks of silver by weight, {both} for the candlestick, and {also} for the lamps thereof, according to the use of every candlestick.
And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to their form, and set {them} in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.
And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all {of} gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which {are} upon the top thereof: {a bowl: Heb. her bowl} {seven pipes...: or, seven several pipes to the lamps}
But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. {with...: or, with a trumpet, and a great voice}
