In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these {things}, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that {he is} strong in power; not one faileth.

Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds {which} are higher than thou.
And for the precious fruits {brought forth} by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon, {put: Heb. thrust} {moon: Heb. moons}
The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy {endureth} for ever.
{There is} one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for {one} star differeth from {another} star in glory.
The day {is} thine, the night also {is} thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.
