Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.

And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD strengthened Eglon the king of Moab against Israel, because they had done evil in the sight of the LORD.

All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant.

Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit {is} falsehood.
