Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.

Remember this, {that} the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and {that} the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.

Now therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith the LORD; and my name continually every day {is} blasphemed.
Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.
I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.
