Judah was his sanctuary, {and} Israel his dominion.

And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, {in} the place, O LORD, {which} thou hast made for thee to dwell in, {in} the Sanctuary, O Lord, {which} thy hands have established.
But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which he loved.
Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth {is} mine:
And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.
Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I {am} the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.
For I {am} the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I {am} holy.
For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee. {unclean...: Heb. nakedness of any thing}
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in {them}; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God {is} with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, {and be} their God.
These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:

He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud. {the proud: Heb. pride}
Why are thy valiant {men} swept away? they stood not, because the LORD did drive them.
