Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
He that walketh with wise {men} shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. {destroyed: Heb. broken}
The fear of the LORD {is} to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean {thing}; and I will receive you,
For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept {me from} the paths of the destroyer.
Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil {men}.
Incline not my heart to {any} evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.
Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
