Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?

And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

And thou shalt prepare a meat offering for it every morning, the sixth part of an ephah, and the third part of an hin of oil, to temper with the fine flour; a meat offering continually by a perpetual ordinance unto the LORD.

They kept also the feast of tabernacles, as {it is} written, and {offered} the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the custom, as the duty of every day required; {as the duty...: Heb. the matter of the day in his day}

{He appointed} also the king's portion of his substance for the burnt offerings, {to wit}, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as {it is} written in the law of the LORD.

Now this {is that} which thou shalt offer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually.

Behold, I build an house to the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate {it} to him, {and} to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the LORD our God. Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This {is} the law of the burnt offering: It {is} the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it. {because...: or, for the burning}

I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, {to have been} continually before me.

And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.

Thus shall they prepare the lamb, and the meat offering, and the oil, every morning {for} a continual burnt offering.
