Of Dan; Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

The standard of the camp of Dan {shall be} on the north side by their armies: and the captain of the children of Dan {shall be} Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

These {are} the sons of Dan after their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These {are} the families of Dan after their families. {Shuham: or, Hushim}

Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.

Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward. {be...: Heb. gather thee up}

On the tenth day Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai, prince of the children of Dan, {offered}:

Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt;

For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel {will be} your rereward. {be...: Heb. gather you up}

All they that were numbered in the camp of Dan {were} an hundred thousand and fifty and seven thousand and six hundred. They shall go hindmost with their standards.
