Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.
From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.
And they shall scourge {him}, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.
And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.
And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify {him}: and the third day he shall rise again.
And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this {fellow} perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.
And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.
By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and {yet} true;
Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived?
{There are} many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, {which} they are not able {to perform}.
But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee.
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
