Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush {was} not consumed.
And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I {am} the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.
And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, the LORD which saidst unto me, Return unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will deal well with thee:
And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I {am} the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;
And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this {is} my name for ever, and this {is} my memorial unto all generations.
So that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God:
And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and {for} the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let {the blessing} come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him {that was} separated from his brethren.
Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and {my} fatlings {are} killed, and all things {are} ready: come unto the marriage.
And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
Moreover he said, I {am} the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush {was} not consumed.
And when the multitude heard {this}, they were astonished at his doctrine.
And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I {am} the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.
But now they desire a better {country}, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
