These {are} the families of Manasseh, and those that were numbered of them, fifty and two thousand and seven hundred.

Moreover I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren, which I took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.

And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD {be} his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath,

Joseph {is} a fruitful bough, {even} a fruitful bough by a well; {whose} branches run over the wall: {branches: Heb. daughters}

And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep {me} from evil, that it may not grieve me! And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us.

So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

And there was a man of mount Ephraim, whose name {was} Micah.

And by the border of Manasseh, from the east side unto the west side, a {portion for} Ephraim.

Notwithstanding the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.

The children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall say again in thine ears, The place {is} too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell.

And there fell ten portions to Manasseh, beside the land of Gilead and Bashan, which {were} on the other side Jordan;
