Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but {if} thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear {it}.

Who hath prevented me, that I should repay {him? whatsoever is} under the whole heaven is mine.

And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as {it is} at this day.

{This is} a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
