Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes?

Their wine {is} the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.
Their poison {is} like the poison of a serpent: {they are} like the deaf adder {that} stoppeth her ear; {like the poison: Heb. according to the likeness, etc} {adder: or, asp}
For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and {in} the bond of iniquity.
