Let favour be shewed to the wicked, {yet} will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.

But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, {and} mountain of holiness.

And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.
And it shall come to pass in that day, {that} the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
They shall not dwell in the LORD'S land; but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean {things} in Assyria.
The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.
And in that day did the Lord GOD of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth:
According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.
For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
But as for thee and thy servants, I know that ye will not yet fear the LORD God.
These {things} hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether {such an one} as thyself: {but} I will reprove thee, and set {them} in order before thine eyes.
Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness. {iniquity unto...: or, punishment of iniquity, etc}
But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.
But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which {vail} is done away in Christ.
