And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you. {faint: Heb. melt}
The people shall hear, {and} be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.
All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never {shalt} thou {be} any more. {a terror: Heb. terrors}
Thus saith the Lord GOD to Tyrus; Shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is made in the midst of thee?
And all that handle the oar, the mariners, {and} all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;
For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it.
And Moab was sore afraid of the people, because they {were} many: and Moab was distressed because of the children of Israel.
Now shall the isles tremble in the day of thy fall; yea, the isles that {are} in the sea shall be troubled at thy departure.
In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh.
