And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, {who is} the health of my countenance, and my God.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to {his} purpose.
But into the second {went} the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and {for} the errors of the people:
Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that {is} for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:
And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy {place} within the vail before the mercy seat, which {is} upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation {is} from him.
And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;
And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, {who is} the health of my countenance, and my God.
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. {sure: or, steady}
Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day.
Behold, God {is} my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH {is} my strength and {my} song; he also is become my salvation.
Therefore {it is} of faith, that {it might be} by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
Blessed {is} the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
Happy {is he} that {hath} the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope {is} in the LORD his God:
And when they had taken up the anchors, they committed {themselves} unto the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoised up the mainsail to the wind, and made toward shore. {taken...: or, cut the anchors, they left them in the sea}
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner {stone}, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; {consecrated: or, new made}

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
And hath raised {us} up together, and made {us} sit together in heavenly {places} in Christ Jesus:
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these {is} charity.

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and {be} not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, {and} which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; {to the end: Gr. perfectly}
But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.

Although my house {be} not so with God; yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all {things}, and sure: for {this is} all my salvation, and all {my} desire, although he make {it} not to grow.
