So he fled with all that he had; and he rose up, and passed over the river, and set his face {toward} the mount Gilead.

And they sat down to eat bread: and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and, behold, a company of Ishmeelites came from Gilead with their camels bearing spicery and balm and myrrh, going to carry {it} down to Egypt.
Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that, behold, the place {was} a place for cattle;
And the people {and} princes of Gilead said one to another, What man {is he} that will begin to fight against the children of Ammon? he shall be head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.
