See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.

Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it {is} a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that {ye} may know that I {am} the LORD that doth sanctify you.
If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, {from} doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking {thine own} words:
Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I {am} the LORD that sanctify them.
And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.
And madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant:
But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I {am} the LORD your God.
Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.
Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day {is} the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work {therein}: it {is} the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.
But the seventh day {is} the sabbath of the LORD thy God: {in it} thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that {is} within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.
And madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant:
Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: {convenient...: Heb. of my allowance}
See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more {shall not} we {escape}, if we turn away from him that {speaketh} from heaven:
And in the first day {there shall be} an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save {that} which every man must eat, that only may be done of you. {man: Heb. soul}
And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day {is} a sabbath unto the LORD: to day ye shall not find it in the field.
And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.

If thou shalt do this thing, and God command thee {so}, then thou shalt be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to their place in peace.
