And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the LORD'S law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt.

And it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt.
And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:
And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, {phylacteries: pieces of parchment containing sentences of the law}
But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, {even} in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
As for me, this {is} my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that {is} upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.
And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this {place}: there shall no leavened bread be eaten. {bondage: Heb. servants}

Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of {my} hands; thy walls {are} continually before me.
Now these {are} thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy strong hand.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this {for} a memorial in a book, and rehearse {it} in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.
And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What {is} this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage: {in...: Heb. to morrow}
And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon {each} row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, {even} an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

And thou shalt put the two stones upon the shoulders of the ephod {for} stones of memorial unto the children of Israel: and Aaron shall bear their names before the LORD upon his two shoulders for a memorial.
And hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror;
One shall say, I {am} the LORD'S; and another shall call {himself} by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe {with} his hand unto the LORD, and surname {himself} by the name of Israel.
Now these {are} thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy strong hand.
We see not our signs: {there is} no more any prophet: neither {is there} among us any that knoweth how long.
