And the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might shew these my signs before him:

And the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.
And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.
And he hardened Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.
For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
And in very deed for this {cause} have I raised thee up, for to shew {in} thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth. {raised...: Heb. made thee stand}
And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.
And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto them, I have sinned this time: the LORD {is} righteous, and I and my people {are} wicked.
The people shall hear, {and} be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.
For the LORD your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over:
And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you. {faint: Heb. melt}
God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry {with the wicked} every day. {judgeth...: or, is a righteous judge}
And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.
Woe unto us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Gods? these {are} the Gods that smote the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness.
But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, {and} my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart {is} hardened, he refuseth to let the people go.
And he hardened Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.
But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he would not let them go.
But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, {and} my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.
He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
