The plain also, and Jordan, and the coast {thereof}, from Chinnereth even unto the sea of the plain, {even} the salt sea, under Ashdothpisgah eastward. {Ashdothpisgah; or, the springs of Pisgah, or, the hill}

And from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and unto the sea of the plain, {even} the salt sea on the east, the way to Bethjeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdothpisgah: {the south: or, Teman} {Ashdothpisgah: or, the springs of Pisgah, or, the hill}
All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea.
That the waters which came down from above stood {and} rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that {is} beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, {even} the salt sea, failed, {and} were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.
And all the plain on this side Jordan eastward, even unto the sea of the plain, under the springs of Pisgah.
And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward: {bay: Heb. tongue}
And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward: {side of the sea: Heb. shoulder of the sea}
And he brought him into the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars, and offered a bullock and a ram on {every} altar. {Pisgah: or, the hill}
And the border passed along to the side of Bethhoglah northward: and the outgoings of the border were at the north bay of the salt sea at the south end of Jordan: this {was} the south coast. {bay: Heb. tongue}
And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.
And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it {was} well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, {even} as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar.
And in the valley, Betharam, and Bethnimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and {his} border, {even} unto the edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the other side Jordan eastward.
And the east border {was} the salt sea, {even} unto the end of Jordan. And {their} border in the north quarter {was} from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan:

Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: {which being} brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed. {desert: or, plain}
