The secret {things belong} unto the LORD our God: but those {things which are} revealed {belong} unto us and to our children for ever, that {we} may do all the words of this law.

He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what {is} in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.
And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable {are} his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that {they are} double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee {less} than thine iniquity {deserveth}.
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. {may: Gr. shall}
The secret of the LORD {is} with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. {and...: or, and his covenant to make them know it}
Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and {he} to whomsoever the Son will reveal {him}.
All scripture {is} given by inspiration of God, and {is} profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard {it}? {counsel: or, secret}
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods {is} in thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and the interpretation thereof.

Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
For the froward {is} abomination to the LORD: but his secret {is} with the righteous.
And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that {is} wisdom; and to depart from evil {is} understanding.
Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise {men}, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king;
I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. {teach: Heb. whet, or, sharpen}
But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;
Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.
Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what {is that} to thee? follow thou me.
Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;

And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that {they are} double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee {less} than thine iniquity {deserveth}.
I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart. {imagination: or, stubbornness}
Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters. {he giveth...: Heb. he answereth not}
Hast thou heard the secret of God? and dost thou restrain wisdom to thyself?
Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, {beguile...: or, judge against you} {in a...: Gr. being a voluntary in humility}
And he smote the men of Bethshemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the LORD, even he smote of the people fifty thousand and threescore and ten men: and the people lamented, because the LORD had smitten {many} of the people with a great slaughter.
Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that {is} within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:
