And it be told thee, and thou hast heard {of it}, and enquired diligently, and, behold, {it be} true, {and} the thing certain, {that} such abomination is wrought in Israel:
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses. {before: or, under}
And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: {quick...: Heb. scent or, smell}
Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person {to cause him} to die.
He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.
