But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.
Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:
And the Lord {said} unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for {one} called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. {have...: or, end, or, finish}
And they that conducted Paul brought him unto Athens: and receiving a commandment unto Silas and Timotheus for to come to him with all speed, they departed.
And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming {thither} went into the synagogue of the Jews.
But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him.
And the Lord {said} unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for {one} called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
And then immediately the brethren sent away Paul to go as it were to the sea: but Silas and Timotheus abode there still.
And the next {day} we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was {one} of the seven; and abode with him.
Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:
But Paul said, I am a man {which am} a Jew of Tarsus, {a city} in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.
I am verily a man {which am} a Jew, born in Tarsus, {a city} in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, {and} taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.
Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.
