Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.
But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
And he said unto them, These {are} the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and {in} the prophets, and {in} the psalms, concerning me.
And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
{And} how I kept back nothing that was profitable {unto you}, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,
For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:
Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy {place}. {wealthy: Heb. moist}
All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them. {destroy...: Heb. cut them off}
And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous {are} thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true {are} thy ways, thou King of saints. {saints: or, nations, or, ages}
Then Samuel took a stone, and set {it} between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, Hitherto hath the LORD helped us. {Ebenezer: that is, The stone of help}
And when there arose a great dissension, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul should have been pulled in pieces of them, commanded the soldiers to go down, and to take him by force from among them, and to bring {him} into the castle.
And there came thither {certain} Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew {him} out of the city, supposing he had been dead.
For the law was given by Moses, {but} grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
And when Paul's sister's son heard of their lying in wait, he went and entered into the castle, and told Paul.
Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:
And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into {his} lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and {out of} the prophets, from morning till evening.
Our help {is} in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth {day} of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way.
{It is} God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me. {avengeth: Heb. giveth avengements for} {subdueth: or, destroyeth}
And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers:
Delivering thee from the people, and {from} the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
And as they went about to kill him, tidings came unto the chief captain of the band, that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.
Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is {the book} of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and {that} all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of {them} all the Lord delivered me.
And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. {destroy the earth: or, corrupt the earth}

But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth {therein}, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. {deed: or, doing}
Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled {them} in condemning {him}.
He will bless them that fear the LORD, {both} small and great. {and: Heb. with}

That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.

And God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians that dwelt in Gurbaal, and the Mehunims.

And a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king's forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which {appertained} to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.
We know that God spake unto Moses: {as for} this {fellow}, we know not from whence he is.
And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.
And know ye this day: for {I speak} not with your children which have not known, and which have not seen the chastisement of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his stretched out arm,
And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.
And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.
But had certain questions against him of their own superstition, and of one Jesus, which was dead, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.
King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest.

For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
