Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests,
And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance {was} as the sun shineth in his strength.
And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which {is} on the left hand of Damascus.
And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.
Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the Lord?
