Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,

And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.
Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning,
For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull {them} down; and I will plant them, and not pluck {them} up.
Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, {even} they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David {shall be} their prince for ever.
The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.
And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor {any} grieving thorn of all {that are} round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I {am} the Lord GOD.
Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.
And {at what} instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant {it};

And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and {with} the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes. {fenced: or, made a wall about} {made: Heb. hewed}
And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour:

Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses.
{How} thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; {how} thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.
Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.
For the LORD of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.
