And also unto the Levites; they shall no {more} carry the tabernacle, nor any vessels of it for the service thereof.
And with them {he sent} Levites, {even} Shemaiah, and Nethaniah, and Zebadiah, and Asahel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehonathan, and Adonijah, and Tobijah, and Tobadonijah, Levites; and with them Elishama and Jehoram, priests.

For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he {is} the messenger of the LORD of hosts.
For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
{Seemeth it but} a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?
And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, to the oracle of the house, into the most holy {place, even} under the wings of the cherubims:
And I have given the Levites {as} a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary. {a gift: Heb. given}
And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear {it}: but they shall not touch {any} holy thing, lest they die. These {things are} the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.
And when they brought out the money that was brought into the house of the LORD, Hilkiah the priest found a book of the law of the LORD {given} by Moses. {by: Heb. by the hand of}
Also Jeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the law: and the people {stood} in their place.
And Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of the city of David unto the house that he had built for her: for he said, My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because {the places are} holy, whereunto the ark of the LORD hath come. {holy: Heb. holiness}
Also in the third year of his reign he sent to his princes, {even} to Benhail, and to Obadiah, and to Zechariah, and to Nethaneel, and to Michaiah, to teach in the cities of Judah.
For {there were} many in the congregation that were not sanctified: therefore the Levites had the charge of the killing of the passovers for every one {that was} not clean, to sanctify {them} unto the LORD.
