Now these {are the things wherein} Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure {was} threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits. {instructed: Heb. founded}

Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper chambers thereof, and of the inner parlours thereof, and of the place of the mercy seat,
And the house which king Solomon built for the LORD, the length thereof {was} threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty {cubits}, and the height thereof thirty cubits.
And the breadth of the door {was} ten cubits; and the sides of the door {were} five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured the length thereof, forty cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits. {door: or, entrance}
And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits {was} the length thereof, according to the breadth of the house; {and} ten cubits {was} the breadth thereof before the house.
