And also the burnt offerings {were} in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings, and the drink offerings for {every} burnt offering. So the service of the house of the LORD was set in order.

And the fourth {part} of an hin of wine for a drink offering shalt thou prepare with the burnt offering or sacrifice, for one lamb.
And thou shalt take all the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul {that is} above the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that {is} upon them, and burn {them} upon the altar. {the caul: it seemeth by anatomy, and the Hebrew doctors, to be the midriff}
So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required:
And the meat offering thereof {shall be} two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the LORD {for} a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof {shall be} of wine, the fourth {part} of an hin.
And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he talked with him, {even} a pillar of stone: and he poured a drink offering thereon, and he poured oil thereon.
And the two kidneys, and the fat that {is} upon them, which {is} by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.
Let all things be done decently and in order.

Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, and the evening meat offering, and the king's burnt sacrifice, and his meat offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice: and the brasen altar shall be for me to enquire {by}.
For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
