This {is} the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest {pertaineth} the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, {and} the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein {is}, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.
And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw {it}, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;
And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest {shall be} chief over the chief of the Levites, {and have} the oversight of them that keep the charge of the sanctuary.
And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of {every} tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand.
Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, {that is} cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD {is} with him. {matters: or, speech}

Eleazar begat Phinehas, Phinehas begat Abishua,
And these {are} the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,
And Jehoiada {was} the leader of the Aaronites, and with him {were} three thousand and seven hundred;
And his princes gave willingly unto the people, to the priests, and to the Levites: Hilkiah and Zechariah and Jehiel, rulers of the house of God, gave unto the priests for the passover offerings two thousand and six hundred {small cattle}, and three hundred oxen. {gave willingly: Heb. offered, etc}
